Per contact we've had from Congressman Jack Kingston's office, the open enrollment period for the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit lasts from October 15 through December 7. If you are enrolled in the program, this is the only time you can make changes to your plan. If you or someone you care about is currently enrolled in Medicare Part D, you may want to consider attending one of the upcoming Medicare Part D Workshops Congressman Kingston is hostinng throughout his district. At these events, the Congressman will have staff available to answer your questions and help you compare all the options. These workshops are taking place at various times and places throughout November. Specifically, there will be workshops in Savannah, Waycross, Kingsland, Brusnwick, and Valdosta.
